Alongside traditional connections such as those supplying power, gas, water and telecommunications, every home requires a connection for waste water. So that your building is sealed right from the start, Hauff-Technik offers a range of varied and innovative solutions for sealing waste water lines in basement walls or floor slabs that are both professional and cost-effective.
Most buildings need a wastewater penetration, which acts as a crucial interface between the interior of the house and the outside environment. This setup allows for the integration of wastewater pipes into the structure. It’s essential to have tailored solutions for various foundation types and usage situations. Wastewater entries can be installed in new constructions as well as retrofitted into existing buildings. Hauff-Technik provides efficient and cost-effective solutions for creating wastewater entries in all circumstances.
In underfloor buildings, connections to utility lines are typically made through wall penetrations. This method allows wastewater pipes and other utility lines to be routed horizontally through the masonry.
Hauff-Technik provides the perfect wastewater entry solutions for these scenarios. Our selection includes universal wall entries designed for double and element walls without a joint edge. These entries feature a sealing cap with a working flange and three three-stepped seals, making them compatible with wall constructions starting from a thickness of 240 mm. The universal wall entries are pre-assembled, blind-sealed, and suitable for flush installation. They are available in KG and KG 2000 quality, as well as sizes DN 100 and DN 150.
The universal wall entries from Hauff-Technik are optimized for flow, preventing changes in flow direction and backflow. This flow optimization also minimizes sediment buildup, significantly reducing maintenance needs.
After installation and concreting, Hauff-Technik’s wastewater entries are completely gas-tight and waterproof, ensuring that neither moisture nor radon can penetrate the building through the wall.
Wastewater entries through floor slabs are a standard practice, especially in buildings without basements. Hauff-Technik provides a variety of solutions tailored for use in floor slabs.
The BD-Fix series offers options both with and without a film flange, ensuring versatility for different installation requirements. One significant advantage of this series is its straightforward connection process. Additionally, the sealing of the drainage pipe can be effectively achieved with the film flange, maintaining a continuous wastewater pipe system. This design ensures a pressure-tight connection, capable of handling pressures up to 5.0 bar and water columns of at least 50 meters.
The BD-Fix series is available in KG pipe nominal diameters from DN 110 to DN 160 and includes options compatible with KG and KG 2000 systems. This flexibility allows for seamless connections between KG and HT pipes. Once embedded, the slab entries remain gas-tight and water-tight, thanks to the built-in water barrier flange, effectively preventing radon from the ground from infiltrating the building through the wastewater penetration.
Hauff-Technik offers tundishes as a practical solution for vertical wastewater penetrations, designed for direct embedding into the ground during construction. These funnel systems come equipped with an integrated level, ensuring accurate alignment throughout the installation process. The included adhesive flange simplifies the integration of a vapor barrier, which can be easily attached using adhesive film or bitumen welding.
This design enables a safe, trip-free installation due to the impact protection insert and complies with the requirements of DGUV 38 § 12a. Additionally, the tundishes feature an integrated three-stepped seal that guarantees a completely gas-tight and water-tight wastewater penetration. These funnels are specifically tailored for KG pipes with a diameter of 110 mm.
Another effective solution for creating wastewater entries during the construction phase is the wall collar. This component is designed to fit directly over the wastewater pipe and is installed in place. Wall collars serve as a waterproof flange, ensuring gas-tight and waterproof entries into the building once they are concreted.
The KG-FIX series collars come equipped with two clamping bands, which cover a clamping range of 120 to 210 mm. This system is compatible with all standard smooth pipes, making it ideal for sealing drainage pipes.
Hauff-Technik also offers the KGF wall collar as a quick and tool-free installation option. Instead of traditional tightening clamping rings, the KGF system features TPE-profile double seals that are moistened and easily slid over the drainage pipe, allowing for rapid installation in just seconds. The KGF collars are available for media pipes with diameters of 110, 125, and 160 mm.
This innovative solution is pressure-tight up to 5.0 bar and offers comprehensive protection against radon infiltration. Additionally, a film sleeve can be incorporated to create a vapor barrier or radon protection, available as an accessory from Hauff-Technik.
